The pleasant climate of Popayán is characterized by moderate temperatures throughout the year, making it easy to explore the city at any time. We recommend wearing light and comfortable clothing, along with a sweater or jacket for cool evenings. (The average temperature is 25 to 14 degrees Celsius in June)

During your free time at the conference, we invite you to discover the charms of Popayán. Strolling through the cobblestone streets of the historic center will lead you to enjoy colonial architecture, with the Metropolitan Basilica Cathedral and the church of San Francisco as must-see landmarks.
