First Option:

To go to Popayán, you have two good options!
FIRST OPTION:
You can choose to travel directly to Guillermo León Valencia Airport in Popayán (PPN), which is conveniently located within the city. This airport shares facilities with the main transportation terminal of the city, from where you can easily access buses or taxis to reach your accommodation.
IMPORTANT: This airport is small, which means there are few airlines and flights operating here. This could result in higher costs or longer layover times. Keep this in mind if you plan to travel directly to the city.
Second Option:
Travel to Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport - Cali (CLO), located on the outskirts of Cali, Colombia. From there, you can catch a bus to the city's main terminal for approximately 10,000 to 15,000 COP ($2.5 to $4 USD). If you prefer to take a taxi to the terminal, prices range from 50,000 to 70,000 COP. At the terminal, you'll find direct buses to Popayán, with fares approximately between 30,000 to 50,000 COP ($8 to $13 USD). The journey takes around 3 to 4 hours to reach the main transportation terminal in Popayán.
IMPORTANT: The second option provides more flight options as Alfonso Bonilla Aragón Airport is an international airport. Additionally, we recommend using VLOTAX or TRANSIPIALES for the journey between Cali and Popayán. These companies offer small buses with direct trips.
